Vancouver overtakes Toronto as the most expensive city

While Toronto one-bedroom rent dropped 5% to $1,900 last month, Vancouver one bedroom rent slightly dipped 1.5% to $1,950, crowning Vancouver as the new priciest city in Canada.

Hamilton:

Average 1 Bedroom rent is $1,340. Up 4.7% MoM and up 2.3% YoY

Average 2 Bedroom rent is $1,670. Up 3.1% Mom and up 8.4% YoY

St. Catharines:

Average 1 Bedroom rent is $1,300. Flat at 0% MoM and flat 0% YoY

Average 2 Bedroom rent is $1,500. Down -3.2% Mom and flat 0% YoY

Toronto

Average 1 Bedroom Rent is $1,900. Down -5% MoM and down -17.4% YoY

Average 2 Bedroom Rent is $2,530. Down -4.5% MoM and down -15.7% YoY
